PCMS is a cloud application designed to enhance the student educational experience. It is designed to extend well beyond the traditional four walls of the institution. By employing state-of-the-art technologies, board administrators, school administrators, teachers, school bus drivers and caring parents or guardians are digitally linked. The focus is on communications, data collection and awareness. Through this process, student safety, absenteeism, lockdown management, hall pass monitoring, and incident reporting both in the school and on the bus are improved and data is collected. In addition, the safe and caring school environment is enhanced.
Data on the length of time each student spends on the school bus is tracked, as well as aggregate time spent on hall passes and detentions is logged. These data can be compared to dropout rates, grades and absenteeism.
The application also provides portal access to allow caring parents or guardians to register with the system. This process allows the parent or guardian to become part of the safe and caring school environment. Through the portal, the parent or guardian can view information on the child about absenteeism, hall pass abuse, incidents and detentions.
