Yacht Clubs and Marinas

Tech-South Inc. platform for Yacht Clubs attaches to the individual organization's website. If you do not have a website Tech-South can design, build and host one for your organization. The MMS (Member Management System) becomes your organization's membership database and membership directory, a place where members can update their personal information and administrators maintain the complete membership database. 

The web application becomes the members-only section which is accessed by a username and password. Administrators, managers and club executives can use the administration workbench to manage the club and its finances, run reports, communicate with other members, organize volunteers, organize and promote events develop member profiles as powerful and interactive as you need. The site also becomes the communications hub for intra-member communications through email services.

There is also no programming required to access any of these features. Everything in the MMS is configured by selecting menu choices. Changes are immediately live.

In most clubs, keeping member information up to date is a real headache. People change addresses, home phone numbers, cell numbers, work numbers, change boats, change ratings, change docks, change email addresses, and the list goes on. Addressing these changes can be a daunting task and one that is in a constant state of flux. These problems are further magnified if printed information on this data is being printed and mailed out. By the time the printing is complete, it will be out of date.

An underlying principle behind MMS is that you should not need to change the way your group is organized to use the application. We have incorporated many options to match the different ways clubs and associations are organized, to accommodate the needs of every group. Our layout is based being Yacht Club members and administrators. We have compiled interviews with club and association members and administrators, in every interest area around the country and the world, to ensure that MMSt accurately reflects what clubs and associations need.

Electronic membership information saves the costs of publishing a membership booklet.

The convenience is enormous. You can access members' information from anywhere. If you have to change plans or race times or contact the crew, you can log in and retrieve the information.

The searches contained within MMS can be used to locate all yachts, docks, moorings and storage locations; now anyone with the appropriate credentials (login) can locate a boat at the club. Yacht information is entered by the member including length, width, and rating (if applicable) now new ratings can be reviewed by the race committee and the rating committee and easily posted.

Registration for events can now be completed online, saving everyone time and effort. Dock assignments can now be made electronically.
